Aggressive driver.

Whilst cycling to work at 7:30am on a Saturday morning (31/7/21) I was using the bus and more recently cycle lane on Fishergate Hill in Preston. I became aware of a bus approaching at speed from behind, I turned to look behind me a saw the X2 bus travelling in excess of at least 40mph (30mph limit) and coming straight at me. I turned right into West Cliff and again looked behind me to see the driver display his middle finger at me. There was absolutely no need to use the bus as a weapon to intimidate other road users and there certainly wasn't any need to then compound this dangerous and illegal behaviour by being aggressively rude. This is a stretch of road that has seen several fatal incidents between buses and pedestrians over the years, hardly surprising when drivers behave in such an unhinged and blatantly aggressive way. The driver concerned this morning has no place on the roads until he gets some help for whatever issues are troubling him before he kills someone.
