About Us
The Destitute Animal Shelter is a rescue charity dedicated to caring for the lost, stray and abandoned dogs and cats of the Bolton area. We have a non-destruction policy and are committed to reducing the unwanted cat and dog problem in this area by neutering every animal that we re-home.
WE DEAL WITH UP TO 45O ANIMALS PER YEAR.

Amazing People
We got our gorgeous Chico from the shelter in January and he had been there for nearly 2 years. The staff and volunteers were amazing and obviously love all of the animals at the shelter. Chico got very excited when we went back for a visit and for us that said it all! He loves everyone there, they are a team of amazing people. We would highly recommended the shelter if you are looking for a forever pet.
