I tried to unblock my own drain,
I tried to unblock my own drain, it cost £33 worth of equipment and 2 days of my Xmas holidays including drain work and shopping. This failed and scratched the toilet bowl badly, I called a very well known drain clearer who said they would come the next day. After waiting in all day and a no show, I checked my messages and they had told me the date would be 6 days after the call.
I then found Able online and called them. A very pleasant and professional chap started the job by 10am ish the very next day
and cleared it within approximately 1 1/2 hours. Their charge was less than the no show company, however the service was excellent.

Able Group's gas fire engineer, Farshid, was very thorough and highly professional. He went beyond the call of duty, carrying out meticulous safety checks and took a real pride in his work. Had a problem with my front door lock and an engineer was able to come within 24hours to fix the problem. He was very professional, on time and pleasant to deal with.

They were quick, clear about what was needed, costs and appointments, and the windows are a great improvement. Work was clean and left tidy.
Wasp nest in loft
Helpful and efficient telephone call with appointment booked within 24 hours. Carl who came to remove the wasp nest was both friendly and informative. Able made the entire process much easier than I expected and for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use again.

After calling other "drain blockage" firms, who either didn't reply or couldn't help for a few days, I rang Able. They offered help either immediately, or the next day, and told me when someone would be calling. I was called by the engineer on the day, giving me 40 mins notice. He was very pleasant, sorted what needed doing with no fuss and advised on dealing with future issues. Very happy.

So easy to contact on-line and give details of the problem. They rang back within twenty minutes to confirm and arranged to come out the next morning (as it wasn't and 'emergency'). On the day, the guy kept in touch to give me a time of arrival (so much better than a four/six slot!) and arrived on time. Told me what needed doing and how long it would take and completed the repair cleanly and efficiently. Recommend definitely!!
Mouse problem
Pest problem was attended to on same day of my contacting Able group, which was great. A return follow up visit was arranged and Nick, the pest control contractor kept me informed of his ETA and finally, the problem was solved!

Called Able for an emergency at my infirm mothers house as her drains were blocked and the toilet backing up. They said that they would be out on the same day, Saturday and they were as food as their word. All repairs done with the minimum of fuss and to a good standard.
Excellent Service throughout
I contacted the Able Group Manchester to arrange an emergency plumber for an elderly relative who had a burst pipe in the garden. The plumber arrived within the hour and fixed the problem immediately. He was very professional and advised my relative to contact the Water Company so that she would not be charged for the excess water. Excellent Service. Highly recommended and reasonably priced.
