We are a Social Enterprise Community Interest Company based in Tameside providing exercise sessions with social gatherings and a chaperon service for the over fifties. The aim of our organisation is to provide activities to the over 50s in order to help improve health and well being and overcome isolation. Fit Over Fifty was recently short listed for best new social enterprise company in the north west!

According to the National Health Service adults aged 50 and older, who are generally fit and have no health conditions that limit their mobility should try to become more active daily and those with limited mobility should also increase activities to help with both physical and mental health issues. It also suggest that inactive people get more immediate health benefits from being active again than people who are already fit.
