Ableworld are the largest mobility and stairlift retailers in the North West. We employ professionals who have been in either Mobility (including engineering) or Nursing and Care Home sectors for up to twenty years and continue their training to a high standard. Ableworld is also a company with a retail and buying background, so you can rely on us to supply quality branded products at value for money prices.

We are very pleased that Ableworld is growing daily, enabling us to provide more mobility aids to more customers up and down the country. We have stores all across the UK providing advice and assistance to as many customers as possible. From as far north as Broxburn, in Scotland, down to Christchurch and Southampton on the South Coast of England. From Colchester in East Anglia over to the west with 5 stores in Wales, including Cardiff and Llandudno, and many more in between. You can be assured that all of our stores provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Our stores are fully accessible for mobility equipment users and many provide free car parking facilities. We have fully trained staff who have passed a DBS check for added peace of mind and offer free demonstrations on the mobility aids that we provide, so that you can try them out for size before making a decision. We can provide free advice on mobility aids to help you or a loved one and have a variety of free information leaflets in our stores, including our product catalogue, and highway code for mobility scooter users, that you can take away to look through in your own time.

As well as our fully stocked stores, we also provide a selection of items to purchase on this website. Unlike many of our competitors we choose to trade ethically and as a result some mobility items that require an assessment are not sold via our website. Items that we do not sell online include Stairlifts, Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs, Beds and Mattresses, Electric Wheelchairs, Riser Recliner Chairs and Bath Lifts. We outline the reasons for this further in our Ethical Policy. We do have the rest of our mobility ranges available to purchase online however, or place a click & collect order ready to be picked up in store.
