Prescot Angling Centre is a family owned business that has traded for over 30 years from its current location and continues to provide an excellent service to anglers at competitive prices often cheaper than the bigger shops and online due to our low overheads and we do try to carry large stocks of popular items.
Everything you buy from us carries at least a 12 month guarantee,if you break it we will try and fix it for you,on the occasions when a product does not meet your expectations or fails we will replace it notwithstanding any additional warranty provided by the manufacturer/importer for example the Lifetime Warranty provided by Greys which would be dealt with by their office.
We are the largest stockists of Drennan and ESP product in the area and also stock items from Shakespeare, Abu, Penn, JRC, Maver Greys, Chub, Rovex/Masterline, Gardner, Tubertini, Suffix, Fladen
Kamasan, Ultima, Bayer, Maxima Dinsmore, Mosella, Middy, Matchbox Berkely, Sakuma, Silstar, Frenzee Leeda MAP Wychwood Sensas Bait Tech/Van Den Eynde and several other quality brands all at competitive prices.
Every square foot of our shop is packed with tackle and bait and we struggle to fit it all in so bear with us when we have to dig things out,if you cant see what you want please ask because it may well be in here somewhere.

The shop is dated and scruffy (as is the owner) all the terminal tackle is behind the counter (yes can't browse you are a suspect thief) the frozen bait is mostly freezer burnt. The owner is extremely arrogant and will only give time of day if you are buying something that costs a few quid, if you want bait, hooks or rig components he would rather sit watching telly and leave his poor wife to deal with you, who to be fair tries her best. Sometimes entering the shop feels like you have the audacity to have woke Kenny up and being served is a inconvenience. If you are a fan of fishing and the Adams Family then this is the place for you.
