Our organisation: S & I Hodgkin Ltd is a Commercial Vehicle Service company based in Seaforth, Liverpool, covering the North West of England.
(5 minutes from the VOSA inspection site at M57/M58 Junction, know locally as SWITCH ISLAND and 2 minutes firm the dock gates).

Having 40 year's experience in commercial vehicle repairs, we have developed the complete approved service workshop for today modern vehicles and trailers. From specialised repairs such as EBS and ABS at ALL FLEET servicing and MOT preparations all to and beyond VOSA requirements. All hydraulic systems catered for (pipe changes, valves blocks, ram re-seals and fault diagnosis, all forms of welding and fabrication undertaken, on-site servicing and electrical repairs.

Trucks and trailers have evolved in recent years to complex standard, As a national award winning main service centre agent for Wabco, Haldex and Knorr-Vremse, S & I Hodgkin have developed a comprehensive service for trucks and trailer diagnostics, service and support. We use all dealer level laptops and sortware, highly trianed personnel have experience in all aspects of diagonsitics and are backed by an investments ni the latest technology, thus providing a first time fix.

We hold a comprehensive stock of all spare parts for every system on the road todayb which enables us to repair systems on the spot.

Saftey issues are paramount in this field of expertise and to keep abreast of developments, retrofitting has become a popular option. Replacing obsolete, problematic or old systems with EBS presents additional options such as anit roll- systems, enhanced tractor/trailer compatibility.
