Sub-standard joinery

We had a full house renovation carried out and the builder subcontracted the joinery work to Castlecraft Joinery. This included fitting skirting boards, door casings, architraves and hanging new doors. Initially the work looked ok but over a period of time we have had all sorts of issues. These include architraves which have come loose, hollow doors which were shortened in height and left with no timber baton beneath so you can get your fingers inside, also poorly fitted hinges and door handles/catches so badly mis-aligned that the internal parts have worn away. I find it appalling to think that with no more than an 'O' level woodwork qualification, I have had to spend time and money to replace fixtures/fittings and rectify such bad workmanship of a so-called qualified tradesman. I would never use Castlecraft joinery again.
