At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask when he robbed you! Got a quote of £150-200 to work on my engine, which was based on me providing all the parts. Took it to them, and also asked them to regrind my crank, I was quoted a further £80. On Collection I was told my bill was £730!! As they had decided that the original price was per piston. Which is a lie, as I have the owner recorded on my dash cam audio, the day we dropped it off, confirming the initial quote. When I contested the price, initially two of them in the office decided to become aggressive and defend themselves with a pre rehearsed torrent of lies. My engine was moved to a side room and the doors and shutters closed, until I paid them. I was then confronted by the owner once again, only now he had an audience of 6-7 more employees. I was repeatedly shouted at and everything I said was being twisted as to suggest that I was being personally derogatory of the owner. They are a bunch of bullying thieves.

The office staff have a can’t be bothered lazy attitude and to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised to find the paperwork is written in crayon.
