Alison graduated from Manchester University in 2003 and has spent her career specialising in stroke rehabilitation. Assessment and therapy sessions are offered within clinets homes. Alison offers comprehensive assessment and treatment of a range of communication difficulties including aphasia (dysphasia). dyspraxia, dysarthria and dysfluency (stammering). All appointments are offered on a domiciliary basis. Treatment options are discussed with each client and each treatment is individualised to make sure they are suited to each clients personal goals for therapy. Treatment options can include 'high-tech' computer therapies or 'low-tech' paper based activities.
Therapy options, including suitable intensity and methods, will be discussed following assessment. All options can be tailored to meet the individuals requirements.
Alison offers private speech and language assessment and therapy for adults, specialising in post stroke communication disorders including dysarthria, aphasia and dyspraxia. Assessment and therapy sessions offered on a domicillary basis. Treatement is tailored to each individual with 'low tech' interventions along with 'high tech' computer based treatment available.
