About Us

Habibi is a buzzy little bar in the heart of New Brighton's emerging Victoria Quarter.

One of the town's favourite venues, we've taken our influences from Brooklyn to Beirut, urban graffiti mixes with traditional Eastern calligraphy, handmade tiles with rough-hewn concrete - all set against a soundtrack of our favourite global Hip Hop artists.

We're known for our cocktails, and Habibi bartenders take the traditional and make it their own - long-standing classics are given an exotic spin, with Orange flower, Rosewater, Tangerine and Pomegranate adding their delicate flavours, whilst Turkish coffee gives a greater richness and depth to our best-selling Espresso Martini.

Our food menu is comprised of small sharing plates, again taking cues from the Middle East, with freshly-made kebabs and homemade flatbreads cooked over charcoal. Vegan and vegetarian options also available.

Fantastic addition to Victoria Road vibe!

Went on the spur of the moment with my wife and 7 year old son, breads and dips to start, ground beef kebab for me, lamb kofta for my boy, and the prawn and halloumi flatbread for my wife. Cooked and seasoned to perfection, great attentive service from the staff, and great tunes on to boot!

Fab find in New Brighton

Stopped in here for lunch today after a walk along New Brighton promenade. It was a great little find. The menu is small but the food Gorgeous! Can choose from deconstructed kebabs, salads, sides etc The kebab consists of a ton of amazing flavours on flatbread. I had some spicy chicken & my husband had monkfish. The kids had some flatbread, hummus and some other sides to pick from. Service was quick & friendly. The beer selection was good and the cocktail menu looked fab. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeous well needed new venue

We popped into Habibi last night after being caught in the rain. We were made very welcome, had a beer, but the smell from the kitchen enticed us to have some food.
The food, atmosphere, music and staff were fab- made us feel like we were in another country- it has a very 'Med' feel. As the sun came out and we looked out on the piazza, it reminded us of visits to Italy - gorgeous! We will definitely be back..... we love New Brighton, but it is always nice to pretend to be somewhere else now and then!

I was on a count down to visit here as its new to my neighbourhood, so lucky to live in NewBrighton and this is a blessing to have here.
The staff are really lovely, the setting is new and hip yet cultural.
The ingredients used speak for themselves and absolutely sing on your tastebuds! Great price and value for quality food.. Looks like its a small- ish portions on pictures but it fresh, light an very filling, packed with flavour.
Would recommend to anyone, bring on the summer keep supporting the locals x

Fantastic Food

This quirky little bar is a welcome addition to Victoria Road which is becoming a pleasant and popular area for food and drink.
The staff are very welcoming and the food is amazing. We ordered the chicken shawarma kebab and the monkfish kebab but the piece de resistance was the halloumi in date ketchup. The flavour is intense and incredible...one of the best things I've ever tasted!
Definitely worth a visit, we'll be back again soon
